The LUTW team in Peru is back from the field! Some highlights from their trip:

LUTW & New School for Design
On February 16th the LUTW Executive Director delivered two lectures for Students in the Masters of Lighting Design Program at the Parsons New School for Design in New York City. The topic of the lectures was “The Socio-Economic Impact of Light on Development”. The Faculty at the New School recognizes the importance of educating students on the impact their industry can potentially have in developing countries and the need to consider developing world applications for lighting products. In addition to receiving information on the role that access to quality light plays in improving human welfare, students had the opportunity to see and discuss various products designed specifically for off grid lighting applications.
