Advocacy

Advocates are individuals from every corner of the world interested in partnering with LUTW, helping to spread the message about the work LUTW does, and supporting our fundraising efforts.

You can become an advocate for LUTW by:

Volunteering: Donate your time, energy and skills to LUTW directly in order to gain experience in international development or to utilize skills you may already possess. Please note that we do not accept applications unless there is a position posted on the website. Click here to go to our volunteering page to see if there are any current positions.

Holding a Special Event: If you are interested in raising funds for Light Up The World by organizing your own special event, our Special Events Package will provide you with the information and forms to help get you started.  Click here to begin.                     

Attending a Seminar: Light Up The World provides people actively working to implement small scale renewable energy projects in developing countries (as well as individuals who have a general interest in renewable energy solutions) with an opportunity to learn more about the work of LUTW and how to implement their own small scale renewable energy projects.
