Learn about the field experiences of the Texas Tech students.

A participant in the Figtree Foundation sponsored training session noted, "Working with the actual components was a real bonus. It meant I could start to understand some of the technical issues. The worksheet for measuring how big a panel you need etc was also awesome. It made you realize how much energy can be created vs. how much we consume."
We offer educational seminars and technical workshops to any interested party.
Groups
Light Up The World can host free workshops for groups interested in learning about solar photovoltaic systems.
What will I learn?
The workshop offers people a chance to learn about solar photovoltaic systems and build a small solar powered lighting system similar to the ones that we install in countries like Costa Rica and Peru.
Why should I attend?
This is a unique opportunity for anyone with an interest in renewable energy and international development to learn about solar technology and our projects.
