Make a donation in honor or in memory of a loved one

A special memorial/honorary donation is available if you wish to make a donation as a way of paying tribute to someone special. You can dedicate a donation to a friend or family member online (please select from the drop-down menu on the right column indicating "Honor Someone with Your Contribution") or by printing this paper form. Instructions for how to fill out the check and where to mail it are included on the form.

For our U.S. Donors

If you are a U.S. donor looking to make a donation to LUTW, the Tides Foundation can issue a tax receipt to all US donors who make contributions of $1,000.00 and above through the Tides Canada Exchange Fund.

To make a donation of $1000.00 or above to the Tides Canada Exchange Fund in support of LUTW:
1. Please make a cheque out to Tides Foundation.

For our donors in Alberta

LUTW donors with annual donations of over $200 are eligible for the Alberta enhanced tax credit.

* Effective January 1, 2007, the Alberta government raised the charitable tax credit for eligible annual donations above $200 by 60 per cent.

* Including the federal credit, Albertans now receive a 50-cent tax credit for every dollar donated over the $200 threshold. The increase gives Alberta one of the highest charitable tax credits in Canada.
