a mid-scale
solar
powered
grid
initiative
to
provide
renewable
energy
to
power
select
areas
on
the
island
of
Cerro
Colorado,
San
Cristobal,
and
Galapaguera
on
the
Galapagos
Islands
of
Ecuador.
In
conjunction
with
this
effort
LUTW
provided
lamps
for
10
tortoise
shelters
in
the
Tortoise
Conservation
Centre
of
Cerro
Colorado,
San
Cristobal,
and
Galapaguera.
An
independent
energy
assessment
and
utility
of
LUTW’s
lamps
was
conducted
and
found
to
be
very
favorable.
LUTW
is
in
preliminary
discussions
with
the
proponents
to
expand
LED
lighting
in
future
phases
of
the
project.
