representative organization in the Philippines and as a component
assembler of our lighting systems. FPE has installed 30 lighting

links including training programs and village level micro credit
for families that would otherwise purchase kerosene or other
expensive and unhealthy fuels.

Project Initiation Date: November 2003
Completion Date: May 2004
Homes Lit: 25 homes
WWF has completed a pilot project of 25 lamping
systems from LUTW for a village pilot installation. The widespread
use of forest timber for lighting in highly populated areas
results in habitat destruction and adverse impacts on sensitive
